Haji is a first-generation learner from Pali, Rajasthan and is currently pursuing his MA in Education (Early-Childhood Education) from APU Bhopal. He was part of the Youth Fellowship Programme of the School for Democracy and later worked for 2 years as an Accountant at SFD.

Ishwar is a social and cultural activist from Rajsamand, Rajasthan, who has worked on issues of labour rights, transparency, accountability and socio-political education for 8 years as part of the Mazdoor Kisan Shakti Sangathan, School for Democracy and Rajasthan Asangathit Mazdoor Union.

Nawaz is from Hyderabad, graduated to be an engineer in 2014, worked in the technical field before joining the Young India Fellowship (2016-17). Post this, he worked with the School for Democracy for 5 years before joining the Mariwala Health Initiative in 2023.

Pooja is from Rajsamand, Rajasthan and is currently pursuing an MA in Education from Azim Premji University, Bhopal. Pooja joined the Youth Fellowship of the School for Democracy in 2020, and later joined SFD as Documentation and Library Coordinator before moving to Bhopal.

Pukhraj is from Rajsamand, Rajasthan, who joined the School for Democracy as part of the Youth Fellowship Programme in 2020. He went on to lead the Rural Libraries work of SFD in the subsequent years. In 2023, he joined the Gandhi Fellowship and currently works with Kshamtalaya.

Saba is from Delhi and did her Undergraduation from Tufts University. She worked at Harvard for a couple of years before joining the Barefoot college for a year. She joined the School for Democracy in 2019 and led the Rural libraries programme for 3 years. She is currently pursuing her Masters in Education and International Development from Cambridge University.

Sugna is from Pali, Rajasthan and is a first-generation learner. She joined the Rural Library cluster of SFD in 2022. She is passionate about libraries and rural education and is currently pursuing an MA in Education from Azim Premji University.
